Zimbabwe Nurses Association (ZINA)

Zimbabwe Nurses Association (ZINA) is the sole professional association for nurses in Zimbabwe established in 1980. ZINA embraces an array of nurses and subspecialties branches namely, Zimbabwe federation of midwives (ZICOM), Clinical Anesthetist Association (CAA), Mental Health Nurses (MHN), Intensive Care Nurses (ICN), Ophthalmic Nurses (OPN), Operating Theatre Nurses (OTN) tutors. ZINA is a member of the International Council of Nurses of (ICN) (made up of 135 member countries nurses association ), East Central and Southern African college of nursing (ECSACON), regional body of 14 countries in the region , THEN Southern African Network for Nurses and Midwives (SANNAM) and the public service international PSI ZINA believes in taking care of Zimbabwean nurses by negotiating for better working conditions adequate remuneration to ensure comfort and safety of all patients/clients and nurses.
